Software Engineer

The selected candidate will be working closely with a highly collaborative team to build, and contribute several product development ideas. Job Responsibilities:

• Solve complex challenges while delivering best-in-class, well-crafted code
• Improve and work on various parts for both the front-end and back-end of the platform
• Work quickly while verifying code frequently to integrate with the deployment-safe, test-driven, CI/CD pipeline
• Build unit tests to help ensure solid workmanship 
• Actively participate with the Product Development Team to help plan the company’s implementation strategies
• Troubleshoot issues and work support tickets

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
• 2+ years of development experience focused on Ruby on Rails, React.js, Ruby, or equivalent modern dynamic OO language
• Familiarity with Redux, React Hooks, and RESTful API’s
• Familiarity with the concepts involved with Design Patterns
• Must be results-driven and execution-oriented personality, ready to take ownership and get results
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Prolific experience working with RESTful API’s, PostgreSQL, and Redis
• Extensive experience working with Async/Batch processing, SOA, and Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with the concepts of Agile/Scrum processes
• Some experience with micro-services architecture
• Excellent verbal, written, and group communication skills
• Excellent organizational and  analytical skills
