Job description

A fast-emerging banking platform that supports the development and deployment of financial products is looking for a Software Engineer. The selected candidate will join the existing team to work extensively on systems and platforms within the domain. The company strives to build an inclusive environment for everyone through the financial software that enables users to create and launch banking products at scale. This will be a long-term, full-time position that requires some overlap with the PST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and consume APIs
  • Work on external integrations and build high-speed data layers
  • Review existing architecture and propose necessary changes
  • Guide the team to implement software development best practices

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience 
  • Prolific knowledge and expertise with Python 
  • Solid expertise in MongoDB, Redis, AWS, and ElastiCache
  • Experience with fintech, risk, credit & crypto products is nice to have
  • Proficiency in Pytorch and Tensorflow is desirable
  • Capability in architecting new systems, performing reviews on existing systems, and initiating changes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
