Job description

A Silicon Valley-based company building a development platform for quantum computing, is looking for a Software Engineer. As a member of the team, you will work closely with accomplished and experienced software engineers to develop infrastructure tools and web services used to deliver the software products. The company utilizes cutting-edge technology to build practical applications with an interdisciplinary team of Physicists, Computer Scientists, and Mathematicians. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to implementing a wide variety of enterprise software projects and revolutionize the quantum computing industry. It requires at least 4 hours of overlap with the EST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement new APIs using Python and NodeJS
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and other DevOps-related tasks 
  • Use automation tools such as to manage cloud environments
  • Carefully develop software documentation and other product descriptions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience 
  • Expertise in Flask, Node.js, AWS, and MySQL
  • Experience debugging and testing software
  • Skilled in Python, Bash, and related scripting languages
  • High level of proficiency in web technologies
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and implementing workflow-driven tools
