Software Engineer

A well-established company sourcing new ways to make exchanging, selling, and purchasing items easier is looking for a Software Engineer. The engineer will work across teams with the Product Managers, Designers, QA, Data Scientists, Engineers, etc. to deliver relevant business initiatives. The online e-commerce platform offers people a trusted site to buy and sell a variety of things, such as clothes, electronics, and handcrafted items, in a safe and secure environment. Job Responsibilities:

• Build, test, and ship user-facing features/products using high quality technologies and frameworks
• Proactively diagnose, fix bugs and performance bottlenecks 
• Leverage native APIs for integration
• Manage and maintain exceptional code quality and develop automation testing to ensure highly performant products

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of software engineering experience 
• Expertise in writing clean, testable JavaScript and Typescript code
• Sound technical documentation skills 
• Hands-on experience in building and shipping technical features and applications using ReactJS or React Native
• Proficiency in writing fully unit-testable code
• Solid understanding of creating clean React Redux architecture in a React Native application with routing library
• Track record of monitoring and managing apps in production
• Familiarity with native Android or iOS APIs 
• Nice to have a deep understanding of iOS SDK/Android framework API and application lifecycles
• Work experience with REST and GraphQL API is desirable
• Work experience with Continuous Integration pipelines to build and deploy mobile apps is nice to have
