Job description

A US-based SaaS platform revolutionizing the EdTech space and opening up new doors in the industry is looking for a Software Engineer. The developer will be responsible for technical and analytical work and will be working towards a common goal to build and support the platform. The company is providing seamless integration services with institutions and works closely with student information systems. This will be a full-time role that requires an overlap with the EST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and support applications for the business functions of clients
  • Take charge of the development of Web Services/Services-Oriented Architecture (SOA), especially in Java
  • Participate in the development of solutions using sound programming expertise for day-to-day activities 
  • Merge technical knowledge with business solutions ranging from consulting services to developing integrated-automated systems

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer
  • Extensive experience working with Java, JavaScript, and Vue.js 
  • Demonstrable experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis
  • Team player but capable of working independently
  • Fluent in English 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
