Job description

A leading remote sales platform is looking to hire a Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of large integral parts of the application. The platform offers small and medium-size businesses a simplified solution to up-level their sales as well as enterprise companies to boost productivity, increase revenue, and decrease sales cycles. They are backed by leading investors such as FirstMile Ventures, Slack Fund, etc., with up to $4 mn in funding. The position offers a full-time, long-term opportunity for those who want to join a fast-moving, evolving startup and grow rapidly in their careers. It requires a minimum of 4 hours overlap with MDT.

Job Responsibilities:

Architect, design, develop, and deploy features across the tech stack
Monitor, edit, and scale the infrastructure
Perform automated tests to ensure rapid iterations
Evaluate third-party tools and other platform features
Communicate daily progress with the rest of the engineering team
Interface with the team to ensure priority on tasks daily
Propose new ideas, respectfully debate others, and stay open to delivering and receiving honest, constructive feedback

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
Sound expertise with Ruby on Rails, React and GraphQL
Experience with Docker and an Electron application is nice to have
Passionate about writing maintainable code, automated testing, and thorough code review
Excellent communication skills
Ability to take high-level requests, break them down to digestible tasks, and own them to completion
Experience working at a fast-moving organization with a passion for building innovative products
