Job description

A U.S.-based company that is working to revolutionize the future of churn prevention for subscription-based businesses, is looking for a Software Engineer. The engineer must possess a “find a way, or make one” attitude and will be reporting/working with the Director of Product to build innovative features enabling their clients to get more work done and drive better outcomes for their business, faster. The candidate must possess a higher level of accountability that can help them shape the future of their product in both the short and long term. By providing businesses with the best page load speeds in its class, the company is building a strong sales funnel structure that will increase conversions. This opportunity is for someone who is diligent, detail-oriented, a great listener, curious, disciplined, and strongly desires to grow professionally.

Job Responsibilities

Initiate the development process for a new project, transitioning from a no-code MVP to a highly scalable and lightning-fast platform
Create and implement modern, AI-forward features using React and Node, from design to deployment
Report to the Director of Product to manage API integrations, develop APIs, and ensure daily product releases
Provide occasional assistance to our support team by addressing and resolving bug fixes as required

Requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer
5+ years of experience working with React.js and Node.js
Strong comprehension of the fundamental building blocks of full-stack programming and have demonstrated experience in successfully delivering projects, including side projects
Good experience in web programming and are well-versed in contemporary practices within the field
Well versed in cloud computing systems (GCP, AWS) and SAAS concepts
Nice to have some understanding of Artificial Intelligence, OpenAI Gym, and API Design
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
