Job description

A U.S.-based company that is helping individuals to get exceptionally skilled in math and computer science is looking for a Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for creating internal style guidelines to help the organization scale quickly. The company offers digitally engaging STEM learning experiences to learners of all ages and backgrounds, including professionals, students, and lifelong learners. The company has managed to successfully secure $23mn+ during their Series C round of funding. This position requires a significant overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to an ongoing rewrite project of the API
  • Enhance the look and experience of the consumer-facing website and add additional features
  • Design effective, usable, scalable, and well-tested web interfaces
  • Reimagine and rework current interfaces to enhance the consumer experience

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Prolific experience working with GraphQL, REST, Vue.js, and React
  • Demonstrated experience with Next.js and Chakra UI
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
