Job description

A U.S.-based company that aims to use consumer influence to directly fund charity organizations in order to have a tangible, significant impact, is looking for a Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for performing the maintenance of existing code and making improvements. The company is enabling retail brands to make a difference by letting users donate part of each purchase to causes they both believe in. The company has managed to secure more than $15mn during their Series A round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and work with cross-functional teams to build efficient features and solutions
  • Maintain technical documentation, including tests, analytics, and troubleshooting
  • Understand user requirements and translate them into stable, and high-performance software 
  • Bridge the gap between visual designs and their technical implementation

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Demonstrable experience working with SQL, React, and JavaScript
  • Good understanding of responsive web design techniques and implementation
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication skills
