Job description

A U.S.-based company developing an innovative B2B automotive platform to help salvage yards to boost sales is looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer. The engineer will be collaborating with cross-functional teams while tackling complicated issues, sharing information, and supplying support. The company is determined to help salvage yards increase their sales and productivity by tapping into the power of modern advancements in technology. The company has managed to secure $6.8mn+ during their Seed round of funding. This will be a long-term, full-time position requiring significant overlap with the CST time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze website performance and drive improvements 
  • Use the best practices of software engineering to help create a scalable platform
  • Make improvements to the development, maintenance, and system standards
  • Serve as a crucial technical resource throughout the whole development cycle and mentor budding developers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Demonstrable experience working with AWS and Ruby on Rails
  • Nice to have some knowledge of Angular
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
