The developer will be in charge of integrating and building the platform by using the newest, best technologies available in the market. Job Responsibilities:

  • Shipping high-quality, well-tested, and beautiful software on time
  • Lead projects with other engineers and participate in the product and design processes
  • Be responsible for peer code reviews and mentoring other engineers
  • Help build and improve the team and department processes and best practices
  • Handle features, bug fixes, and improvements of considerable size and complexity
  • Constantly communicate progress, and blockers, and provide assistance to fellow team members

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of significant experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Experience with a modern JavaScript framework (Stimulus, React, etc.)
  • Have a solid sense of self-management, strong communication, and coordination skills
  • Experience with CSS and HTML
  • Passion for serving the customer, soliciting feedback, and drawing conclusions from data
  • Have an interest and passion for innovation from a technical, process, and best practice perspective
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills
  • Knowledge of testing, profiling, and debugging practices
  • A passion for mentoring, teaching, and leading others
