Job description

A comprehensive technology platform powering dispensary operations across several US-based markets is looking for a Senior .NET Engineer. The engineer will join the rapid growth team and work on virtually all aspects of the current product and future product development. The company has raised $600 mn+ in funding with the backing of industry-leading enterprises, VC firms, and other notable Angel investors. They operate as a leading technology company in the cannabis space, dedicated to supporting the positive societal change the cannabis industry brings to the world. The selected candidate will be opportune to work in a well-funded, award-winning company and build cutting-edge systems from analytics software to two-sided marketplaces, IoT devices, and a ton of exciting challenges.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, tested, organized, and elegant code
  • Be proactive enough to start projects and tasks without constant direction
  • Learn extensively and pick up new frameworks and technologies quickly
  • Work closely with the founding team and take part in technology-related decisions
  • Help build the foundation of the company (Culture, Processes, and Practices)

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant development experience as a .NET engineer
  • Expertise in .NET/C# development and general software best practices
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Expert skills in designing and extending scalable data models and data stores 
  • Great communication skills
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced agile environment to ship code regularly
  • Proven track record of building software in the e-commerce or regulatory industries
  • Proficient in the development and management of infrastructure on cloud-native hosting providers (AWS/Azure)
  • Demonstrable expertise with open source frameworks like Ruby on Rails and Node.js is nice to have
  • Possess deep experience with third-party integrations
  • Familiarity and experience with open-source projects and contributions is a plus
