Job description

A US-based company that is building a state-of-the-art dispatch and routing software system to help businesses improve their fleet efficiency is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing elegant solutions to resolve usability problems. The company is developing a comprehensive platform that offers customers efficient solutions that will enable delivery drivers, dispatchers, managers, and recipients to do business better. The company has managed to raise more than $70mn during their Series C round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Primarily work on the mobile platform for enhancing driver's experience
  • Develop features and maintain the existing application
  • Work on implementing offline-first capability and improving app stability
  • Add customers’ new requirements and use cases

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as an iOS engineer
  • Must have 5 years or more of experience working with Objective-C and UIKit
  • Must have at least 4 years of RESTful API experience, along with skills in caching libraries and databases for offline (Realm, PINCache, core data, etc.) 
  • At least 3 years of working experience in unit testing, MVVM, and clean architecture is necessary
  • Proficiency in Firebase, CI/CD (Jenkins, Bitrise, etc.), Swift, SwiftUI, and combine would be nice to have 
  • Must possess strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and spoken skills in English is compulsory
