Job description

A US-based company building a social app where people can be themselves and share live moments, is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer. The selected candidate will be working with a number of animation and editing tools that will result in smooth content delivery and consumption. The company is building a futuristic app that will run in the background without draining the device battery, thus allowing the user to save the moments and share them. The company has managed to raise more than $2mn during their Seed round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with Animation and Editing Tools
  • Be responsible for in-app sharing, video rendering, formatting, and distribution
  • Handle messaging, content delivery, and consumption
  • Identify errors and fix bugs in the software applications  
  • Upgrade, test, and deploy software with the latest features 
  • Build scalable, efficient, and well-documented stacks

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Must have an experience in iOS Swift
  • Familiarity with Objective-C is nice to have
  • Prior experience working in a startup or a unicorn company is nice to have
  • Ability to solve complex challenges in your area of expertise
  • Strong general problem-solving and logical reasoning ability
  • Profound verbal and written communication skills
