Job description

A fast-emerging technology company that provides world-class routing software services and outstanding delivery experiences is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for scoping the team’s technical work to ensure proper sequencing, design, and implementation. The company is contributing to critical customer retention needs and growth while revolutionizing delivery operations. It has so far raised over $23 mn in funding. This is a great chance to join a dedicated team in developing next-gen tech products at scale.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Aid users in performing critical business functions
  • Collaborate with other mobile developers to coordinate the iOS and Android development 
  • Offer technical leadership and guide the team to improve on skills through technical mentoring, role-modeling, coaching, and knowledge-sharing sessions
  • Engage in code reviews to foster technical innovations
  • Carefully examine applications in production and proactively identify and fix issues that may arise
  • Contribute to the product-wide technical roadmap and guarantee the success of technical team initiatives 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of expertise in native mobile development on iOS using Swift/SwiftUI
  • At least 8+ years of software development experience
  • Proficient with Objective-C, Swift, SwiftUI, MVVM
  • Prior experience working with API integrations and Google Firebase
  • Solid expertise in integrating third-party libraries and SDKs
  • Familiarity with mobile push notifications (pubnub)
  • Previous experience with mobile CI/CD, such as Bitrise
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on performance and resiliency of the application
