Job description

A large-scale, fast-growing consumer app and social platform designed to connect creators with their fans is looking for a Senior iOS Developer. The selected candidate will help build and advance the foundation of the company’s high-powered mobile engineering team. The Silicon Valley-based content-creation and sharing platform is enabling users to personally connect with creators and become a part of the community culture. They have managed to raise more than $3.8mn in funding so far. This will be a long-term, full-time position that requires 4+ hours overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Design and implement features in the company’s flagship audio/video/music iOS app
Collaborate with the design team to create innovative user experiences and great products
Release quickly and iteratively in an agile software development environment
Strive to understand the most challenging problems and propose creative solutions
Collaborate closely with the server team and the product team to define and implement features

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as an iOS Developer
3+ years of experience working with iOS technologies like Swift and Objective-C
Extensive knowledge of Core Animation, Core Audio, Core Graphics, UIKit, GCD (grand central dispatch), and REST APIs
Considerable programming experience with Swift and deep knowledge of the Apple ecosystem
Experience with WebRTC, OpenTok, or other real-time audio/video systems
Experience with Android and related frameworks
Extensive knowledge of peer-to-peer audio and video technologies
Prior experience and the ability to thrive in fast-paced and entrepreneurial environments
Ability to create high-quality mobile apps
