Job description

A well-established content sharing platform that encourages users to initiate conversations, share information, and build communities is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be playing a critical role in the technical and product strategy, operations, architecture, and execution of the platform. The US-based platform sees a daily footfall of more than 48mn users who are changing the game with their innovative content creation and sharing processes. The company has managed to raise $1bn+ during their Series F round of funding. This role requires some overlap with the PST time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work across cross-functional teams such as product, design, and engineering counterparts 
  • Execute product strategy and build novel products and features 
  • Actively contribute to the development cycle right from the technical design to launch
  • Conduct code reviews and design docs, give feedback on product specs and mocks
  • Participate within the team to brainstorm ideas that improve developer workflows and recommend best practices
  • Counsel junior engineers on the team to hone their technical proficiency

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-8+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • Prolific experience in Rest API 
  • A minimum of 3-8+ years of experience in JavaScript is required
  • Nice to have experience in Typescript, React, Vue, Angular
  • Ability to continuously learn and sharpen technical and non-technical abilities to grow in the team 
  • Fluent in conversational and written English
