Job description

A stealth cybersecurity technology startup scaling cybersecurity teams and implementing efficient and well-designed operations is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The engineer will help design, implement and test features for the high-performance front-end platform. The company has gained high-profile customers and is well-funded by some of the most respected names in the cybersecurity industry across Silicon Valley and other prominent entities. This will be an opportunity for the selected candidate to work on a high-performing front-end team supporting a fast-growing developer tool.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with a test-driven-development mindset
  • Work alongside product managers, designers, and engineers to ship performant applications
  • Assist in improving product effectiveness, quality, development speed, and continuous deployment capabilities
  • Mentor junior engineers to grow in their technical responsibilities and remove blockers hindering autonomy
  • Participate in Tier 2 or Tier 3 on-call rotations to troubleshoot product, security operations, and urgent engineering issues

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
  • Understanding of languages like Python and Typescript
  • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and experience using React
  • Proficiency with Angular, Ember, or Vue 
  • Competency in writing automated tests (Jest, Karma, Mocha, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of building high-performing front-ends
  • Comfortable working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process
  • Experience with GraphQL would be a bonus
  • Expertise in working with AWS and Terraform is essential
  • Must possess the ability to diagnose and resolve issues and performance bottlenecks 
  • Thorough experience working with Infrastructure as a code
