Job description

A globally recognized car sharing platform delivering a cost-effective alternative to car ownership is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for building out new product features from start to finish and collaborating on the product vision and technical decisions. The company has developed an app that enables people to bypass the hurdles at traditional rental car counters and avoid complex technicalities involved in purchasing and maintaining a car, all while creating a fun, secure environment. This will be a great chance for the candidate to join a diverse and distributed team to solve real-world problems and deliver amazing customer experiences while transforming the future of transportation.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop highly reliable software in a collaborative and inclusive environment
  • Perform code reviews and contribute to the application development 
  • Work closely in teams to implement the full lifecycle of a feature
  • Architect and design robust, secure and scalable features

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Proficiency with React and Typescript
  • Have a strong product mindset 
  • Good communication skills, comfortable working in a team as well as with non-technical colleagues
  • Fluent with the English language (written and spoken)
