Job description

An emerging company that is developing a one-of-a-kind professional network based on validated project experience rather than employment history, is looking for a Senior Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be part of a growing core team and will be responsible for taking the platform development to the next level. Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the front-end of the online application with an emphasis on user and developer experience
  • Participate actively in conversations about current issues and possible solutions, ranging from coding to architecture design
  • Take the platform development to the next level and push it forward technically
  • Write clean code and test them to offer a high-quality user experience
  • Explore new technologies and open-source projects

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Experience with Node.js and React for at least 5 years
  • 5+ years of experience working with Figma workflows (e.g. component libraries)
  • Ability to build well-tested and clean code, as well as educate other engineers to do so
  • Experience leading a team of engineers and a desire to do so
  • Interest in collaborating with product and design roles in a cross-functional manner
  • Some Typescript knowledge is advantageous
  • Nice to have some experience with component libraries (for the time being, we're using Storybook/Chakra UI)
  • Nice to have knowledge of the Elastic Stack and the Search UI
  • Native apps and mobile development knowledge is nice to have
  • DeFi/dApps/Web3 experience or interest is desirable
