Job description

A leading ed-tech company in the U.S that is working towards improving educational experiences through technology, is looking for a Senior Front-End Developer. The developer will be developing scalable and readily maintainable codebases by utilizing behavioral design patterns and functional programming techniques.  By providing schools with a strong and dynamic platform, the organization aims to close the gap between traditional teaching techniques and the contemporary requirement for digital literacy. Job Responsibilities:


  • Create and manage sophisticated user interface features while applying pixel-perfect designs
  • Write React.js-focused JavaScript code that is clear, effective, and reusable for a range of platforms and applications
  • Hand-code HTML and CSS to precisely capture project visual designs, guaranteeing compatibility with all browsers and operating systems
  • Make advantage of semantic HTML tags and adhere to accessibility guidelines to provide a welcoming user experience
  • Once goals are established, work autonomously, proactively resolving problems and putting solutions in place
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, comprehend overarching objectives, and effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders
  • Keep up with the most recent developments in UI/UX tools and industry trends to consistently improve the user experience of the project or product


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
  • Prolific experience working with HTML/CSS, React, and JavaScript
  • Some UI Development experience is desirable
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to produce original concepts while paying close attention to detail
  • Be an expert at hand-coding CSS and HTML to bring designs to life with pixel-perfect accuracy
  • UI development expertise combined with a sizable portfolio of interactive projects
  • Expert-level familiarity with JavaScript, encompassing ES6+, closures, types, and asynchronous programming
  • Extensive knowledge of React hooks and context APIs, as well as extensive experience with React.js
  • Ability to write complex CSS, HTML, and JavaScript by hand without the need for frameworks
  • Track record of success in responsive and adaptive design and an appreciation for the significance of pixel-perfect accuracy
  • Strong understanding of online accessibility guidelines and how to apply them
  • In-depth knowledge of Git and other version control systems
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to operate autonomously with little guidance
  • Outstanding communication abilities in English, both written and spoken
