Job description

A leading interactive deep learning platform that makes it easy for enterprise companies with huge datasets to identify new insights and take action is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for working on cutting-edge technology to help architect the on-premise and multi-cloud infrastructure. The company is an MIT spinoff and has raised $7mn in funding so far. Candidates who would like to join a fast-scaling team to make an impact within the cloud infrastructure operations space are well suited for this role. It is a full-time role that requires a minimum of 6 hours daily overlap with ET zones.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on cutting-edge technology to help architect on-premise and multi-cloud infrastructure
  • Help define best principles and practices for microservices initiative
  • Work closely with the core engineering team to iterate on existing Docker Swarm infrastructure and Jenkins CI pipelines strategies
  • Ensure continued success of containerization strategy by advising on persistence and parameterization requirements for new services
  • Advise on infrastructure goals while keeping an eye on developer productivity and security
  • Help ensure operational integrity by advising on uptime requirements, data backups, maintenance planning, and swarm migration strategies
  • Build high-performance and scalable ML architecture

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-5 years of production DevOps experience
  • 1-2 years of experience with GCP and AWS
  • Must be fluent in Bash/Python
  • Strong understanding of Postgres administration
  • Experience building and maintaining distributed microservices; debugging and monitoring live production environments with Docker
  • Working knowledge of Terraform and Ansible to support both multi-cloud and on-premise customers
  • Expert level understanding of AWS/GCP and related tooling
  • Strong understanding of Docker containerization and orchestration
