Job description

A fast-growing US-based company that is active in the advertising space is looking for a Senior Data Engineer. The developer will be tasked with developing scalable, robust code and enhancing the platform to elevate the user experience. This is an exciting opportunity for developers to rub shoulders with highly skilled and experienced professionals. Candidates who are technically sound are well-suitable for this position and will be given a chance to move up the ladder while showcasing their skills. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Acquire datasets that align with business needs
  • Develop algorithms to transform data into useful, actionable information
  • Build, test, and maintain database pipeline architectures
  • Collaborate with management to understand company objectives
  • Create new data validation methods and data analysis tools
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer
  • Extensive knowledge of Big data, Python, AWS, and Google Cloud Big data tools
  • Profound experience working with ETL and ELT
  • Nice to have some experience in HIVE, Hadoop, and Spark
  • Experience building data lakes and data warehouses
  • Fluent in English communication, both written and verbal
