Job description

An established fashion brand focused on transforming the apparel industry is looking for a Senior Data Engineer. The engineer will be primarily responsible for building and implementing data pipelines on the projects. The company is building a high-growth platform that decreases the harmful impact on the environment through eco-friendly products and integrates sustainable business methods. The company has managed to secure fundings over $200 mn at the Series E investment round. This is a nice opportunity for candidates to utilize their vast technical skills in developing innovative software solutions.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex data analysis with large data volumes
  • Work comfortably in a collaborative setting with colleagues and other departmental leadership
  • Convey complex messages in a clear, simplified, and comprehensible fashion
  • Build and maintain reliable and scalable solutions on big data platforms

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant data engineering experience 
  • Prior experience with Pyspark, Python, dbt, SQL, and AWS services
  • Be proactive, requiring minimal supervision and highly organized
  • Ability to work collaboratively, learn new concepts quickly, and pay keen attention to details
  • Previous working experience on data engineering for retail customer base is a plus
  • Demonstrate an ability to stay calm during times of uncertainty and stress
