Senior Data Engineer

A tech company, focused on helping other businesses leverage the digital and social media environments to better engage their customers, is looking for a Senior Data Engineer. The engineer will collaborate side by side with the Lead Data Engineer in order to upgrade and keep the company’s systems working smoothly and efficiently. Through the power of technology, the company is helping businesses increase their digital presence and better engage their clients. This is a full-time, long term opportunity for a software engineer who wants to work directly with the company leadership and grow in his career.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Lead Data Engineer to work on the company’s systems
• Coordinate with other professionals to upgrade and maintain the current systems
• Keep up to date with the latest trends, developments and technologies in the data engineering environment
• Offer support and help foster the exchange of knowledge as needed

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer
• Prolific experience with SQL and the Azure cloud platform
• Deep understanding about data engineering and its related technologies
• Solid communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and collaboratively
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken
