Job description

A U.S.-based company that is helping businesses and customers to access the value in unstructured data is looking for a Senior Data Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing external data sources. The company is utilizing the power of machine learning and AI to provide world-class analytics that will help to accelerate commercial insurance performance. The company has managed to secure more than $30mn during their Series C round of funding. This will be a full-time position. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of integrating third-party APIs for a variety of use cases
  • Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to identify and understand data needs
  • Develop data cleansing procedures to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Efficiently identify and report bugs

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer
  • Prolific experience working with Python and data engineering technologies
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
