Job description

A fast-growing company that is redefining how businesses buy, sell, own, and connect with products to unlock fashion’s shift to a circular economy, is looking for a React Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be reporting to the VP of Software Engineering and will be responsible for creating prototypes of new features quickly. The company’s modern technology enables products to have embedded sustainability and helps businesses manage them through a data-driven, circular lifecycle. This is a great opportunity for developers who possess the skills to prioritize tasks and communicate clearly.

Job Responsibilities:

Make an impact while contributing to a cross-functional team
Utilizing React/Material UI, write well-structured, tidy, reusable, and testable code
As required, provide technical documentation for all systems
Test your own code and other developers' work in a peer-review setting
Boost the efficiency of current systems
Put security and data protection measures in place
Work with the architecture team as needed to put in place the best corporate solution to a challenge

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
Demonstrable experience building scalable solutions
Prolific experience working with React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures that utilize SaaS and PaaS models, especially Azure
Extensive experience with applying AI/ML in solving business problems at scale is a plus
Prior experience working with large-scale consumer-level datasets that undergo multi-billion transactions/interactions
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Must be a self-starter with a strong desire to increase efficiency
