Job description

A U.S.-based company that collaborates with businesses and publishers to strengthen ties with audiences and raise the standard of online discourse, is looking for a React/Next.js Developer with Figma design experience. The engineer will be taking the initiative on initiatives based on the MVP document and owning the entire development process. The company is enhancing how and where people communicate online by building trustworthy venues for meaningful dialogues that advance society. This position requires 6-8 hours of overlap with the EST time zone. The company has managed to secure $390mn+ during its Series F round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:


  • Work with design specs to develop a v1 MVP product
  • Oversee the content and ads in the comment sections of well-known websites
  • Assist in developing a proof-of-concept user interface (POC) so that advertisers can buy comment sections and ad space based on the subjects being discussed
  • Create an MVP, test it internally, and expand development if it works well


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Prolific experience with React and Next.js
  • Demonstrable experience working with Figma
  • Some prior Ad-Tech experience is nice to have
  • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
