Job description

A fast-growing company building an efficient software that converts podcasts into shareable videos automatically is looking for a React Engineer. The selected candidate will be putting their name on a product and shouldering the responsibility of improving the core product. The company's advanced technology enables users to create engaging videos and partake in digital audio marketing by converting them into audio-visual content. This will be a full-time, long-term role requiring some overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build a stunning, best-in-class web app
  • Iterate on features as quickly as possible
  • Collaborate with project managers, senior developers, and business partners for work planning, sharing new ideas, code demonstrations, troubleshooting, and bug fixing
  • Optimize front-end elements to maximize performance across different devices and browsers
  • Assist team members in architectural compliance, functional accuracy validation, and adherence to appropriate industry standards
  • Keep a record of the status and progress of assigned tasks to project teams and managers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a React engineer
  • Must have experience with React and Redux
  • Knowledge of Typescript is nice to have
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering high-quality web experiences from conception to release and maintenance 
  • Previous experience building scalable web apps with 1000+ users per month
  • Ability to collaborate closely with management, designers, and the back-end team
  • A high level of motivation and self-management
  • Good design aesthetics and intuition for a pleasant user experience
