Job description

An NYSE-listed company revolutionizing the legal tech industry with their AI and cloud computing-powered platform is looking for a Platform Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and building end-to-end web architecture. The company's advanced solution streamlines the discovery, legal document review, legal hold, and case management process for enterprises, law firms, legal services providers, and governments The company has managed to successfully secure $200 mn+ in funding so far. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of high-scale data, processing, and orchestration systems
  • Perform workflow/orchestration systems and design
  • Perform infrastructure automation, especially Terraform, CloudFormation, and Docker
  • Inspect, fix bugs and consumer issues

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a platform engineer
  • Extensive experience in Java and Kotlin 
  • Prolific experience in AWS Lamda and DevOps
  • Prior experience in Terraform and Docker
  • Solid understanding of schema design, consistency, transactionality, operational factors, etc. RDBMS, Search Engine, Distributed Event Stores, Queueing, File Stores, NoSQL, etc.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture, coupling/cohesion, contract design, protocol and transport, dependency injection, operational factors, etc.
  • Configuration-driven computing, fault tolerance and checkpointing, etc.
  • Extensive experience in AWS, MS Azure, and GCP, along with constituent services and products
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
