Job description

A US-based company that is implementing a blend of entertainment and SaaS web development technologies to discover and employ the best in cloud technology, is looking for a Platform Development Engineer. The engineer will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to create compelling user experiences. The company is determined to create a ground-breaking cloud platform for the media and entertainment industry. This will be a long-term position and a rare opportunity to work with a well-established company with notable clientele like Netflix and Disney.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the team to assist in windows implementation, including partial scripting, APIs, and RPC servers
  • Convert beta features into a full-fledged product that is available for customers
  • Contribute to developing the architectural design of the platform
  • Write well designed, testable, and robust code
  • Produce high performant specifications and determine operational feasibility
  • Tailor and deploy software tools, procedures, and metrics
  • Document code for future use and maintain software functionality

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Prior experience working around Windows machines, isolating processes, automating, and scripting firewall rules
  • Prolific experience in Python and Golang 
  • Working knowledge of Go with RPC server
  • Extensive experience in AWS, GCP, and REST APIs
  • Nice to have experience automating windows machines 
  • Experience in PowerShell, Infra, and DevOps is a plus 
  • Proficient in verbal and written English 
  • Ability to think outside the box
