Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing electrical controllers for air conditioners and refrigerators that use less energy, is looking for an OpenWrt Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of troubleshooting errors and fixing bugs in the software using a holistic, test-oriented approach. The company is developing world-class energy-efficient refrigeration solutions and services. The company has managed to secure more than $17mn in funding so far. This will be a long-term position.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and improve the overall quality of the platform by identifying issues and applying the best solutions
  • Engage in long-term strategic planning and define complex application development
  • Ability to work with other frameworks while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Make complex technical and design decisions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • 5+ years of experience working with OpenWrt
  • Extensive experience working with Linux admin
  • Prolific experience with JavaScript, HTML, C/C++, and Golang
  • Fluent in written and spoken English communication
