Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is providing IT solutions that enable the implementation, integration, and maintenance of business information systems, is looking for a Node.js Software Engineer. The engineer will be collaborating with relevant business stakeholders and will have an active part in product design and development. The company's advanced solutions cover the entire IT life-cycle, from planning to design, to implementation, and finally operation and management. This is an exciting opportunity for developers who enjoy tackling multifaceted complex problems. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with team members on NodeJS development in a Scrum environment
  • Take ownership for the full SDLC, from understanding business needs through coding to deployment and maintenance
  • Work on high performant mission-critical, scalable, and resilient web-based applications and services
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to learn and desire to implement solutions using cutting edge technologies

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 2-3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • A minimum of 3+ years of commercial experience in Node.js
  • Demonstrable experience working with databases (RDBMS and/or NoSQL)
  • Prior experience working with REST APIs
  • Solid experience using NodeJS frameworks like ExpressJS or NestJS
  • Nice to have experience in AWS, Linux, Docker, K8s, Jenkins, Angular
  • Experience in HTML, CSS, MongoDB and PostgreSQL is preferred
  • Experience developing NPM modules
  • Extensive experience with Typescript
  • Solid understanding of modern design patterns
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent English communication skills
