Job description

An emerging company that is active in the media industry and aims to transform the entertainment industry with some innovative solutions is looking for a Mobile iOS Engineer. The selected candidate will be collaborating with the existing team of developers and solving complex issues in a timely and analytical manner. The company is building a revolutionary app for movie and TV sets that incorporate all aspects of production and call sheets in real-time. This will be a full-time, long-term role requiring some overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain modern mobile applications built for iOS devices
  • Take charge of writing and performing unit/integration tests to ensure usability and reliability of mobile applications
  • Work alongside designers to define and implement new features for applications
  • Troubleshoot and debug application bottlenecks for improving performance
  • Build and implement application updates

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience working as an iOS developer
  • Expertise in working with Swift and related languages is essential
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of SwiftUI and Swift Package Manager
  • Past experience of working with versioning tools like Git is highly preferred
  • Should be able to take full advantage of cloud solutions like AWS
  • Must be well versed with user interface development and its best practices
  • Ability to work with Parsing excel, CVS, and PDFs will give an added advantage
