Job description

A NASDAQ-listed company that has made a name for itself in the international food and beverage industry is looking for a Junior Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be contributing to the integration of a new workgroup while creating a new mobile and e-commerce venture. The company’s wide range of beloved products has catered to a diverse customer base that is distributed all over the world. This position requires 4-6+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create precise and effective programs using unit tests in accordance with the specifications
  • Organize cross-functionally to make sure the project complies with regulatory requirements and corporate objectives
  • Participate in code reviews, provide support, look into, and determine the causes of any faults, defects, or issues with the produced program that have been reported
  • Help define the engineering foundations and create the long-term plan

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Prolific working experience in Java (SpringBoot), Microservice, and API Integration
  • In-depth knowledge of major cloud providers like Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Nice to have demonstrable experience implementing and managing asynchronous messaging queues like Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ, etc.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
