Job description

A US-based company that is revolutionizing the healthcare industry by compiling health data along with patient care is looking for a Golang Engineer. The engineer will work collaboratively with other teams to bring new products and features to the market. The company is committed to delivering comprehensive and personalized options for patients and their caregivers through a transparent and streamlined process. This will be a long-term, full-time role that requires some overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of back-end applications based on the industry-standard RESTful platform
  • Lead the development of a structured, tested, and maintainable codebase
  • Cooperate with other teams and departments to bring new features and products to the market
  • In the Golang ecosystem, promote cutting-edge technology trends, standards, frameworks, and tools
  • Use Git, Agile practices, and the CI/CD pipeline to stay on track with the work
  • Contribute to creating the product vision and long-term goals

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of experience with Golang
  • Experience with Golang idiomatic application development and building toolchain
  • Knowledge of working with large-scale and high-availability applications
  • Exposure to cloud-based application development such as AWS
  • Deployment and Testing framework knowledge is nice to have
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
