Job description

A rapidly-growing company that has developed a platform to enable insurance providers to proactively prevent cyber-attacks against their policyholders is looking for a Golang Engineer. The engineer will be bringing together a high-powered, efficient team to deliver value to the company’s customers. The company helps to safeguard users against common attacks like phishing emails and ransomware. This will be a full-time position that can lead to exciting opportunities. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preserve existing services
  • Consider both user experience and implementation details as you brainstorm and design new features
  • Perform code reviews in pairs and serve as a mentor to junior developers
  • Interact with the technical leadership of the customers, learn about their needs, and put them into action

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of experience working as a software engineer
  • Must have experience with Golang, React, Node, and Python components running in a hosted Kubernetes environment
  • 3+ years of expertise delivering and supporting production-ready Golang solutions
  • Pub/sub, in-memory storage, and distributed systems/services experience
  • Familiarity with and expertise implementing engineering best practices in day-to-day operations
  • Previous experience working with Apache Beam 
  • Obsessive and data-driven in their approach to validating concepts and technological solutions
