Job description

A fast-growing digital retail banking service provider that helps users to keep track of their expenses, is looking for a Golang Engineer. The engineer will be expected to own and drive improvements of the products and infrastructure while working with cross-functional teams. The company's advanced application provides users with helpful insights into where their money is going and how it's growing. They have managed to raise more than $150mn in funding so far.

Job Responsibilities:

Must be able to write scalable, robust, efficient, testable, and easy to maintain codes
Understand and transform user requirements into stable, and high-performance software
Work closely with developers for designing and maintaining distributed architectures

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3-6+ years of experience working as a Golang engineer
Expertise in Go programming language and related paradigms
Must have a thorough understanding of common Goroutine and channel patterns
Prior experience in utilizing dependency management and code generation tools is required
A strong grasp over popular Go web frameworks like Revel, and router packages is essential
Must possess strong communication skills along with fluency in English to collaborate with efficiency
The ability to utilize SQL and NoSQL databases is essential
A thorough understanding of CI/CD processes will be helpful
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes is highly desirable
Basic understanding of cloud services like AWS or GCP will be an advantage
Ability to work with code versioning tools such as Git is a bonus
Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3 will be a big advantage
