Job description

A fast-growing digital retail banking service provider that helps users to keep track of their expenses, is looking for a Golang Engineer. The engineer will be expected to own and drive improvements of the products and infrastructure while working with cross-functional teams. The company's advanced application provides users with helpful insights into where their money is going and how it's growing. They have managed to raise more than $150mn in funding so far. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to write scalable, robust, efficient, testable, and easy to maintain codes
  • Understand and transform user requirements into stable, and high-performance software
  • Work closely with developers for designing and maintaining distributed architectures

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-6+ years of experience working as a Golang engineer
  • Expertise in Go programming language and related paradigms
  • Must have a thorough understanding of common Goroutine and channel patterns
  • Prior experience in utilizing dependency management and code generation tools is required
  • A strong grasp over popular Go web frameworks like Revel, and router packages is essential
  • Must possess strong communication skills along with fluency in English to collaborate with efficiency
  • The ability to utilize SQL and NoSQL databases is essential
  • A thorough understanding of CI/CD processes will be helpful
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes is highly desirable
  • Basic understanding of cloud services like AWS or GCP will be an advantage
  • Ability to work with code versioning tools such as Git is a bonus
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3 will be a big advantage
