Job description

An all-in-one cloud-based shipping platform is looking for a Golang Engineer. The engineer will work on developing scalable, robust code and play a key role in architectural decisions. The platform is trusted by thousands of happy e-commerce merchants and integrates well with shipping carriers and multiple selling channels including Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, eBay, etc, to streamline the process for online retailers. This is a great opportunity for those who want to build solutions that increase work efficiency. It requires at least 4+ hours overlap with PST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code
  • Translating software requirements into stable, working, high-performance software
  • Play a key role in the architectural and design decisions, building toward an efficient microservices distributed architecture
  • Database design optimization and maintenance
  • Implementing APIs that interacts with third-party APIs

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience as a Go engineer
  • Experience with Go frameworks and tools, including Go module, protocol buffers, and Go tests
  • Familiarity with Microservices and API
  • Experience integrating GRPC and REST APIs
  • Experience working with databases including MySQL and MongoDB
  • Experience with source control (Git), build workflows, and collaboration
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, GraphQL, and GORM is a big plus
