Job description

A rapidly growing cyber security startup situated in Silicon Valley that is developing a game-changing Cloud-Native DPI system is looking for a Golang Developer. The selected candidate will be working closely with the existing team of talented professionals to ensure that the application conforms to user specifications. The company is taking a revolutionary approach to security observability across clouds, containers, and serverless technologies. They have managed to raise $10mn+ during their Series A round of funding.

Job Responsibilities:

Preserve existing services and accelerate the adoption of the security platform
Consider both user experience and implementation details as you brainstorm and design new features
Perform code reviews in pairs and serve as a mentor to junior developers
Interact with the technical leadership of the customers, learn about their needs, and put them into action

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 8-10+ years of relevant experience working as a back-end / Golang developer
Extensive experience in highly-loaded and production-ready services development
Basic understanding of DevOps tools (Docker, Docker-compose, Kubernetes) is nice to have
Experience with MongoDB, MySQL/PostgreSQL is desirable
Experience with Kafka and NodeJS is preferred
Excellent English communication skills
