Job description

A NASDAQ-listed company that is offering automated IaaS solutions to enterprises to help them boost their networks and increase application performance, is looking for a Go Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to better enhance the platform. The company is helping customers to deploy strong, specialized bare metal APIs and interfaces with their favored DevOps tools or application ecosystems. The company has successfully managed to secure more than $1.2bn in funding so far. This position requires 4+ hours of overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Attend daily team standups and participate in brainstorming sessions
  • Contribute and help the team to move their focus from one integration to another integration
  • Develop cutting-edge, effective, and scalable high-traffic solutions and features
  • Create, maintain, and support opensource integrations for the company's products and services by working with the client team on public projects

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 6+ years of experience working with Linux, Go, and Python
  • Demonstrable networking skills
  • 2-3+ years of experience working with Kubernetes
  • Prior experience doing some iteration works like adding features and fixing bugs for GitHub issues
  • Extensive experience with Terraform Provider and Cluster API Provider (Go code and Kubernetes)
  • Demonstrable experience with Cloud Provider for Kubernetes
  • In-depth knowledge of Metal CLI (Go code)
  • Prior experience with Generated SDKs like OpenAPI, Python, Go, and Java
  • Solid understanding of Ansible Provider, Pulumi Provider, Juju Provider, and Crossplane Provider
  • Familiarity with Slack, Jira, and GitHub
  • Nice to have prior experience working in opensource Go projects
  • Exceptional team player with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
