Job description

A NASDAQ-listed automobile manufacturing company introducing the next generation of electric vehicles to the market is looking for an experienced Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be tasked with enhancing the application's front-end with a focus on performance. The US-based company is determined to build a more sustainable future for the young generation by lowering the carbon footprintcarbon footprint. They have managed to raise more than $10bn in funding so far. This will be a long-term position and is an exciting opportunity for developers who want to further their careers. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop applications for supply chain and internal processes
  • Scale-up engineering processes to meet upcoming deadlines of car launches
  • Develop intuitive front-ends and interfaces for applications
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to build quality solutions
  • Communicate with clients’ technical leadership to understand requirements and execute them
  • Utilize a wide range of systems and technologies to resolve end-to-end solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5 years of experience working as a front-end engineer
  • 3 years of professional experience focusing on the front-end and React
  • Proven experience working with front-end technologies like GraphQL, React, and Material UI
  • Expertise working with AWS along with a knowledge of AWS Amplify and Lambda
  • Experience in working with ReactJS, NodeJS, AppSync, and Redux-Saga will be helpful
  • Expertise in working with modern languages like Python
  • A thorough understanding of SQL and database technologies like DynamoDB and data modeling is essential
