Job description

A fast-growing company that aids brands in scaling their marketing programs with easy deployable AI solutions, is looking for a Data Scientist. The candidate will work with various machine learning techniques and libraries to build data-driven solutions. The company has developed a platform that leverages the power of machine learning and high-level data to generate leads, spark sales, and drive ROI. This will be a full-time and long-term opportunity for the candidate to contribute to designing and developing systems that enable organizations to reach their ideal audience.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand business challenges and opportunities across industries for product/service improvements
  • Utilize analytics to devise strategic and tactical recommendations
  • Assist in data cleaning and wrangling, quantitative analysis, and data mining processes
  • Invest time to understand problems and identify trends and opportunities
  • Inform, influence, support, and execute product development and launches
  • Forecast and set product team goals, design and evaluation experimentations
  • Help to monitor key product metrics and reasons influencing changes in metrics
  • Develop and analyze dashboards and reports
  • Build key data sets to allow a more efficient operational and exploratory analysis
  • Evaluate and define metrics and strategize the development roadmap
  • Develop an understanding of ecosystems, user behaviors, and long-term trends
  • Identify possible levers capable of moving key metrics
  • Develop models of user behaviors and analysis or to power production systems
  • Influence product teams' operations using data-based recommendations
  • Provide updates about the state of business, experiment results, etc. to product teams
  • Implement the best practices to analytics and product teams

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Data Scientist
  • Expertise in building data science and machine learning platforms
  • Thorough knowledge of working with languages like Python and SQL
  • Ability to work with cloud services like GCP or AWS 
  • Understanding Docker, Kubernetes, and Big Data technologies will be beneficial
  • Ability to work on Big Query 
  • Knowledge of general programming best practices
  • Thorough understanding of machine learning techniques like clustering, regression, decision tree learning, neural networks, and more, along with real-world benefits
  • Ability to deploy statistics and machine learning models
  • Familiarity with libraries like Pandas, Numpy/Scipy, Statsmodels, Scikit-learn, and Keras/Tensorflow
  • Process, clean, and verify the integrity of data used in analysis
