Data Scientist

A rapidly-growing company that manufactures innovative automation solutions to make transportation more efficient, safer, and better for the environment is looking for a Data Scientist. The selected candidate will be responsible for communicating with stakeholders and non-technical individuals. The company's products and solutions increase fuel economy and road safety while lowering costs and minimizing driver downtime. During the Series C round of funding, the company secured over $65 mn. This role requires some overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work on data mining techniques using state-of-the-art methods 
• Analyze statistical data and make value out of it 
• Build data models and verify data integrity 
• Present reports and results in a clean and understandable manner 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5-7 years of relevant experience with algorithms
• Prolific experience with Java
• Nice to have a solid understanding of Python and related frameworks
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually
