Job description

An OTCQB market-listed company that provides innovative e-Discovery and AI solutions, is looking for a Data Scientist. The selected candidate will be responsible for strengthening the operations of the data science team while also developing the data and analytic stack of the company’s core platform. The company’s easy-to-use AI bot deployment, creation and management platform makes it easier for preserving enterprise information through backup, archiving, recovery, migration, business continuity, and replications. The role requires 8+ overlap with the UTC time zone. This is a nice opportunity for those who would like to work on building innovative solutions and collaborate with industry experts.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Resolve identified hurdles with analytical, strategic and tactical strategies
  • Undertake quantitative analysis and data mining tasks
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to find solutions and identify trends and beneficial opportunities
  • Inform, influence, support, and execute product development and releases
  • Keep track of product metrics, identify root causes of changes in data generated
  • Develop and analyze dashboards and reports
  • Develop key data sets to drive operational and exploratory analysis
  • Influencing product teams through the presentation of data-based recommendations

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of relevant data science experience 
  • Must be an expert in R programming language
  • Must be able to undertake quantitative data analysis. report writing and presenting finding
  • Knowledge of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python), or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, MATLAB)
  • Must possess strong analytical skills with a knack to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of info with meticulous detail and accuracy
  • Communicating the findings of analysis to different teams and leaderships to tweak and develop strategy
