Job description

A Silicon Valley-based company that is providing cutting-edge innovative generative AI solutions for the workplace is looking for a Back-End Python Engineer. The engineer will be tasked with strengthening the organization’s cross-platform search functions and their ability to handle data. The company is offering businesses scalable, reliable, and configurable solutions that enable them to unlock the untapped potential of their organizations. The company has managed to raise $18mn+ during their Seed round of funding. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage reliable Python back-end systems
  • Put ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) procedures into practice for effective data input and integration
  • Oversee and enhance data repositories, guaranteeing secure and efficient data authorization
  • Create and incorporate sophisticated search features with a range of goods and services, such as Notion, Google Drive, and Slack
  • Integrate OAuth for safe access to various platforms and services
  • Take the lead in developing the Elasticsearch integration to improve data retrieval from existing data stores and search capabilities

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Demonstrable experience working with Python development, with emphasis on effectively managing data and integrating different services
  • Significant experience with ETL integrations and managing data ingestion processes
  • Comprehensive understanding of data stores and putting data permissions into practice
  • In-depth knowledge of developing search interfaces for a range of platforms, including Notion, Google Drive, and Slack
  • Adeptness in putting OAuth integrations into practice for safe data access
  • Strong familiarity with SaaS APIs and expertise in incorporating them into back-end systems
  • Demonstrable expertise in developing Elasticsearch integrations is highly preferred
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities and the capacity to function both individually and together
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
  • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
