Job description

A U.S.-based company that is providing commercial and public sector developers with world-class tools and cloud infrastructure solutions, is looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of building, automating, running, and maintaining an AWS cloud-based production system. The company’s top-tier cloud infrastructure solutions enable businesses to operate better while lowering expenses, boosting output, and upholding security and compliance. This position requires 2+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:


  • Create secure, scalable, and highly accessible cloud infrastructure using AWS
  • Jointly establish infrastructure and deployment needs with software engineering
  • Regularly oversee the project's client interface, taking proactive measures to resolve any concerns before they become more serious
  • Make technical and functional specifications documentation


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer
  • Demonstrable experience with AWS DevOps, AWS, and Kubernetes
  • Prior certification is required
  • Familiarity with Terraform and AWS Solutions Architecture is desirable
  • Nice to have some solid understanding of AWS Lambda, DevOps, and Python
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
