Job description

The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying areas that can improve the systems' performance, scalability, reliability, and resilience. Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and deliver complete front-ends for applications
  • Develop solutions that offer high performance on both mobile and desktop devices
  • Must be able to write tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Coordinate your workflow between the graphic designer and HTML coder
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to build the RESTful APIs
  • Communicating with external web services

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of experience working as an Angular developer
  • Proven experience o developing single-page applications based on Angular
  • Thorough understanding of Angular 2, 4, HTML5, and JavaScript
  • Ability to design and develop modern user interfaces
  • Professional experience of working with tools like Jenkins and Svn
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English is an essential requirement
  • Should possess a deep understanding of AngularJS practices and commonly used modules
  • Must be able to create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
  • Should be able to ensure a clear dependency chain based on app logic as well as the file system
  • Ability to provide SEO solutions for single-page applications will be a bonus
  • Deep understanding of CSS and JavaScript methods to provide performant visual effects that maintain framerate above 30fps at all times
  • Awareness about responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system
  • Must be able to validate user actions on the client-side and provide responsive feedback
  • Ability to develop non-blocking codes and use advanced techniques such as multi-threading whenever required
  • Should be able to create custom, general use modules and components to extend elements and modules of core AngularJS
  • Understanding of different levels of operation available to the front-end, from creating XHRs in VanillaJS to using a custom wrapper around $resource
  • Ability to build infrastructures serving the front-end app and assets
  • Must be able to architect and automate the build process for production, using task runners or scripts
  • Ability to document codes inline using JSDoc or other conventions
  • Should be able to write extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks
  • Ability to build e2e test suites for all components and run them with Protractor (or a well-reasoned alternative)
  • Creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments
