Job responsibilities

Coordinate cross-functionally to analyze user requirements, envision system features and functionality
Contribute to the design and development of user interfaces and applications using the laid-out framework
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to discuss requirements, schedule activities, and troubleshoot issues during development and production
Take ownership of writing well-defined, scalable, and efficient code
Prepare and implement complex network changes and maintain network security practices
Keep detailed documentation and build assistance tools to support users

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of experience in high-end software development
High-level proficiency in concepts of software development.
Stronghold over programming languages (Java. C, C++, etc.) and various frameworks
Knowledge of database and querying languages like SQL
Hands-on expertise in Linux Operating System with administration, scripting skills, CI/CD process, and DevOps tools
Strongholds on Routing, Switching, and Firewall administration
Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers and clients
Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) and a 4-hour overlap with the US time zone

Preferred skills

Good understanding of code versioning tools, like Git, SVN, etc.
Familiar with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks
Experience in Network programmability in SDN, REST APIs, NETCONF, YANG, JSON, and XML is a plus
Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases is preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile development environment
