Job responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to determine requirements, development processes, and plan the delivery roadmap
Troubleshoot and fix any issues found in existing PHP programs
Communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations of web processes and infrastructure
Write PHP scripts to facilitate client systems to meet the product performance and objectives
Assist the QA team to prepare software testing for client applications
Create and maintain documentation for the development cycle and code
Write or modify client software with the help of source debuggers
Work closely with the project owners and development team to complete projects promptly

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 3+ years of proven experience as a PHP developer (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Excellent knowledge of the basic PHP 7 or web server exploits
Strong knowledge of PHP coding and web-based applications
Good understanding of website integration and software creation
Good knowledge of SQL and related databases along with a detailed understanding of database design and administration
Ability to integrate the application with third party services using REST APIs
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Fluency in English for effective communication
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a daily 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Experience in building or maintaining CMSs
Knowledge of MVC frameworks and code versioning tools
Ability to integrate different data sources and databases into a single system
Able to follow clear instructions according to client demands
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly enthusiastic about delivering results
